About this iPhone
Apple recently launched the iPhone 14 Pro A2650 model on September 7, 2022. It is available to purchase in the USA and Puerto Rico. Apple introduced several enhancements in this model, including a faster processor, improved cameras, and a new crash detection system.
A 6-core 5nm A16 Bionic processor provides the processing power to this model. It has 6 GB RAM. This model comes with four flash storage options: 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB. This iPhone features a 5-core GPU to support graphically demanding tasks like video editing and gaming. A 16-core Neural Engine further enhances the processing speed of this phone.
This iPhone’s display is 6.1-inch in size. It is a Super Retina XDR display covering the entire front. It is also equipped with OLED and ProMotion technology and delivers 2556 x 1179 pixel resolution at 460 ppi. The display’s brightness level is 1000 nits (typical) and 1600 nits (HDR). The peak brightness can reach 2000 nits (outdoor). It also features 120Hz refresh rates with a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio (typical).
The iPhone 14 Pro A2650 has four cameras. It has three cameras on the back and one front camera. The rear three cameras are known as Pro Camera System, feature 48 MP Main (24 mm, ƒ/1.78 aperture), 12 MP Ultra Wide (13 mm, ƒ/2.2 aperture), and 12 MP Telephoto (48 mm, ƒ/1.78 aperture) cameras. Unlike previous iPhone models, these cameras feature quad-pixel sensors to capture maximum details in low light. They also feature Photonic Engine and Deep Fusion technology which promises better images when light is low. The front camera is placed in the top capsular area of the display, which Apple advertised as Dynamic Island. This camera is a 12 MP TrueDepth camera responsible for FaceID recognition. It also captures high-quality images and shoots 4K videos at 60 fps.
This iPhone has a stainless steel case with a glass back and front. The front side is covered with a Ceramic shield for protection, while the back has a magnetic charging connection for the MagSafe wireless charger. It is IP68 rated (splash, water, and dust-resistant). This iPhone is available in four color options: Space Black, Silver, Gold, and Deep Purple.
The iPhone 14 Pro A2650 has support for dual eSIM. It does not support physical nano SIM. It has several connectivity options, including 5G (sub‑6 GHz and mmWave) with 4×4 MIMO, Gigabit LTE with 4×4 MIMO and LAA, Wi‑Fi 6 (802.11ax) with 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.3 Ultra Wideband chip for spatial awareness, NFC with reader mode, and Express Cards with the power reserve. It also has a new safety feature of Crash Detection that enables Emergency SOS via satellite.
