About this iPad Pro

Apple released the iPad Pro A2436 model on October 18, 2022. This iPad Pro model has a faster processor and architecture, faster Wi-Fi, more advanced Bluetooth, and ProRes video capture compared to its predecessors. It is a Wi-Fi-only model that does not support the cellular network of A-GPS.

The iPad Pro 12.9-inch (Wi-Fi Only – 6th Gen) is powered by Apple’s powerful M2 processor, which has eight cores. The processor has four performance cores and four efficiency cores. This iPad Pro model supports Apple Pencil 2nd-Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A), which can be charged magnetically. Apple introduced a new Hover feature in this iPad Pro model, which intuitively creates a projection of the Apple pencil before touching the display. Additionally, this iPad Pro supports external keyboards and trackpads.

This iPad Pro model’s display is covered by fingerprint-resistant oleophobic and antireflection coating for protection against scratches and oils. This model lacks a Home button.

Apple introduced its latest M2 processor featuring eight cores (four performance and four efficiency cores) in this iPad Pro. It is a 5 nm 64-bit CPU with a 3.49 GHz clock speed. A 10-core graphics processor is also integrated with the CPU that works parallelly to handle all graphical tasks of this iPad Pro.
